[edit] UPDATE Conference in Madrid
From November 23rd until November 24th 2009, the final outcomes of the UPDATE project were presented on the final UPDATE conference in Madrid, Spain. This conference was open for all interested parties in the field of science and technology education.
During this conference, a variety of different UPDATE members and guest speakers completed the programme with their presentations on technology and science education and other topics related to this field. The purpose of the conference was to disseminate and exploit the findings of the UPDATE activities. Especially the means of activity continuation beyond the end of the project were put on the agenda as well.

The conference took place in Madrid/Spain from Monday 23th until Tuesday, the 24th of November 2009. The event was arranged in the building of the Royal Academy of Pharmacy.

A Multinational Project Consortium consisting of 16 partners of 11 different countries participated in this multinational European project. All members promoted a multi-national approach to improve European technology and science education.
